Green Hopper Ltd is a green auto tech company focused on connecting the future of auto tech services to automobility experiences in Africa. Our flagship product, FITA Autotech, uses mobile technology, machine learning, and subscription models to enable African vehicle owners to manage, track, and enhance their vehicle experiences by connecting to our vetted auto services ecosystem that supports pathways to green mobility transitions. Our integrated FITA ESG Impact Model promotes sustainable automotive systems in Africa by upskilling auto technicians through subsidized automotive programs with quotas for women technicians and pioneering near-zero waste workshops.

Our Hybrid Model

Our hybrid model is at the core of our operations to connect modern technology, best practices and more sustainable forms of mobility to Africa’s automobility industry. This effort is led by our Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Team, and focuses on 3 primary pillars:

Environmental

Collaborating with local EV partners to introduce users to greener forms of mobility via the platform (EVs, Hybrids, Bikes) to reduce carbon emissions while educating users on greener vehicles; Prioritizing near-zero waste workshops through sustainable and environmentally conscious operations to reduce the resources leakage and prioritizing circularity

Governance

Ensuring the company is ethical in all dealings, and equitable standards are applied across all arms of operations. Our intention is also to share the learnings and more sustainable standards we build through research with industry players to improve the general systems adopted in industry.

Social

Upskilling roadside mechanics through partnerships and subsidized automotive educational programs with quotas for women to improve their quality of work and employ them in our mechanic network

Goes Green

In FITA’s effort to contribute to a greener and more carbon-free environment, we are introducing the FITA Goes Green business effort to encourage our customers and mechanics to explore different forms of mobility.

Our vision is to build the first electric and hybrid vehicle service network on the continent, enabling users to acquire, maintain, upgrade and experience newer and greener forms of mobility.

In addition, FITA Moving Green will allow you to access various forms of greener mobility, including the option for EVs, Hybrid vehicles, and (electric) bikes, which introduce a fun dynamic to how we move around.
